Dog Hiking Services

Our Hike service is designed to offer your dog an enriching and engaging morning filled with adventure and exercise. Dogs enjoy a minimum of 1.5 hours of actual hiking time, exploring the trails and embracing the great outdoors. The entire excursion, including travel, spans from 9:00 AM to approximately 11:00-11:30 AM, making the total trip up to 2.5 hours.

If you are taking hike as a stand alone and not as part of a daycare package, please ensure to drop off your dog by 8:00AM and pick up your dog by 12:00PM, as a grace period is extended until this time for your convenience. A late fee of $20 will be applied for pickups within the hour following 12:00PM, and pickups after 1:00PM will incur a half-day daycare charge, as we continue to care for and accommodate your dog.

We reserve the right to choose which dogs go on hikes based on availability and temperament of dogs.

Who Can Attend

• Non-Reactive Dogs: Barking and lunging are not acceptable.
• Health: Dogs must be in good health, free from contagious diseases, and up-to-date on flea and tick prevention (within the last month).
• Vaccinations Required: Rabies, Bordetella, and DHLPP. Leptospirosis is preferred but optional.
• Age: Dogs must be at least 1 year old.
• Behavior: Basic obedience (sit, stay, recall) is required. Handlers have the right to refuse dogs that are not a good fit for hikes.
• Leash and Harness: Dogs must be comfortable walking on a non-retractable leash. Owners must provide well-fitted harnesses.

Additional Requirements

• Daycare Attendance: New dogs must attend daycare for at least one week so we can assess their suitability for hikes.
• Light Meal: Dogs should eat a light meal at least 1 hour before the hike.

Handler Discretion

• Selection: Our handlers will decide which dogs are best suited for each hike to ensure safety and enjoyment for all participants.

Reservation Policy

• First Come, First Serve: Hikes are available on a first come, first serve basis.
• Limits to availability: Limited to maximum of 6 dogs per hike.
• Package Limits: Reservations cannot exceed the number of days included in your package.

Registration Process

1. Online Registration: Fill out the registration form with your dog's information and health records.
2. Daycare Assessment: New dogs attend daycare for a week for evaluation.
3. Reservation: Once approved, make reservations up to the limit of your package days.
